Fund Wynter Rhys’ Dear Society
Reel Grrl Wynter Rhys created her debut short film, Little Red, a dark interpretation of the original story by Charles Perrault last fall. Little Red has been accepted into over 20 festivals, including National Film Festival for Talented Youth (NFFTY), Newport Beach Film Festival, and Chicago Film Festival’s CineYouth. Dear Society will be her first official production.
In Dear Society Wynter uses her perspective of a young filmmaker to address issues that young people face growing up in a media saturated landscape. In Dear Society, a young girl named Kenley explores questions about insecurities – and contacts a personified Society as the pressure to be perfect grows like a psychological illness in her mind.
Help Wynter reach her goal of raising $3,500. Check out the trailer, her campaign on Indiegogo!
