Amelia Reynolds is so stoked to be apart of the Reel Grrls community, celebrating her eleventh year working with youth. As a teaching artist, Amelia will guide and empower grrls in media-specific programming, incorporating her experience with youth empowerment and social justice into Reel Grrls curricula.
Alongside her work with Reel Grrls, Amelia is a childhood development specialist for the Boys and Girls Club of King County as well as an editorial assistant for Amelia received her B.A. in journalism Cum Laude with a minor in Theatre from Ithaca College in 2014. She has written and produced media for Whitewall MagazineThe IthacanBuzzsaw Magazine, and Ithaca Week. She has fulfilled roles in artistic leadership around the United States since 2011: as an education intern at Camp Centerstage in Baltimore, Maryland; as a volunteer at The Beverly J. Martin Elementary School’s after school enrichment program in Ithaca, New York; and as an arts and education intern at the Book-It Repertory Theatre here in Seattle, Washington.
 She has a deep passion for promoting media literacy and creating groundbreaking content with the younger generation. In her spare time, she loves to ski, ride her bike, read, and play with her pug, Teddy.
