Elizabeth Mazé is a musician, arts administrator, and committed beach goth. Having grown up in Seattle during the Teen Dance Ordinance, she attended the first concert put on by The Vera Project in 2001 and immediately understood the importance of incorporating youth voices in community conversations and civic engagement. Elizabeth’s relationship with the organization grew from intern to becoming Vera’s Programs and Membership Manager, where she dedicated her time to creating engaging programming and the leadership development of their volunteer base. While having since moved on to a position with The Derschang Group, she maintains her cultural commitment by serving on the Reel Grrls board as their Board Secretary and organizing workshops that center female-identified and nonbinary voices with social justice narratives as a Co-Founder of the Womxn’s Creative Industries Meet Up.
