Sarah Greenleaf is a writer and filmmaker living in Los Angeles. She holds an MFA from Temple University in Film and Media Arts and teaches filmmaking at a private middle school. Sarah started making films at age 14 as a participant in the second year of Reel Grrls. She went on to mentor in the program during high school and college and most of the crew for her MFA Thesis film were from the Reel Grrls community. Sarah is not only a believer in youth media, she is a byproduct of it, and believes that now, more than ever, youth voices have the authority and insight to speak truth to power and to lead the way in making change.
