Stephany Koch Hazelrigg lives deeply and directly from her belief in the power of art and community to create space, healing, and change and has worked in multiple capacities to do so, centering youth and historically marginalized communities involved in social change for nearly two decades.

In addition to her work as a Reel Grrls Program Manager, Stephany is also an independently contracted artist, consultant, and creative facilitator who envisions, plays, and performs with multiple community organizations, schools, and institutions throughout the Pacific Northwest including her own grassroots collective, Social HeARTistry Educators and The Naked Truth On Stereotypes.

She is the proud momma of a most wonderful little grrl and is profoundly grateful for the deep and daily lessons that abound within the powerful and creative community of women, grrls, and allies in her life as they work toward a more peaceful and powerful world and way. She is honored and inspired to work, learn, and grow make space for young people and grrls to speak out and lead the way with the power of media, making, and storytelling.
