The 2008 Seattle International Film Festival's FutureWave program, which highlights youth-created films, awarded this year's grand prize, the WaveMaker Award, to "Disorder." The film was created in the 2007 Reel Grrls spring program by Rose McAleese, Sami Kubo, Sami Muilenburg, Camille Kolodziejski and Isis Amen-Asia. Longtime Reel Grrls participant Sami Kubo also won an honorable mention for her independently created film "4th Floor." Watch "Disorder" and more of our films here!

Seven Reel Grrls films screened at the 9th Women's Film Festival in Seoul, South Korea.

Reel Grrls featured at Sundance Film Festival. Five of our graduates and two of our mentors traveled to Utah for this event, thanks to a scholarship from the Sundance Institute.
